Commission Minutes--February 20, 2001 2248 ,..-- DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 20, 2001 -- ,...-- 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order aDDroved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda, omitting consent agenda item on Resolution #2001-3, implementing spring load restrictions on county highways per county engineer's request (the item is delayed until the March 5, 2001, meeting); and adding a contract with Fargo Cass County Economic Development Corporation under contract approvals on the consent agenda. Motion carried. 4. GIS JOB DESCRIPTION, Forwarded to Fox Lawson Associates MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to forward the proposed Position Analysis Questionnaire (PAQ) for the Geographic Information System (GIS) Coordinator position to Fox Lawson Associates for review and grading, according to a letter from County Auditor Michael Montplaisir dated February 7, 2001. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLES, Sand hills Archers. Inc. and Minn.Kota Feline Club MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve raffle permit for Sandhills Archers, Inc. to be held February 24, 2001, at Sandhills Archery Park near West Fargo. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve raffle permit for Minn-Kota Feline Club to be held April 8, 2001, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds near West Fargo. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
