<br />Commission Minutes--September 5, 2000 2186 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of <br />the last regular meeting held August 21 and the minutes ofthe budget <br />meetings held August 21, 22 and 23, 2000, be approved as written. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with one addition to the consent agenda concerning an <br />insurance settlement for a bridge in Hill Township. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Appointment of Annex member <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to appoint Diane <br />Miller, Social Services, as the Annex employee representative on the <br />Personnel Overview Committee for the remainder of 2000 and for 2001 <br />to replace Bill Willis, who resigned. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. ASSESSMENT OF OMITTED PROPERTIES, ADDroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add numerous <br />parcels, according to list provided by the county auditor, in the City <br />of Alice, Casselton Township, Clifton Township, Eldred Township, <br />Everest Township and Gill Township as omitted property for 2000 for <br />a total of $64,300 agricultural land, according to notice sent from the <br />county auditor to BNSF Railway Company, Fort Worth, Texas and <br />Robert R. Fowler, Clarendon Hills, Illinois. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add railroad <br />right-of-way in SE 1/4 of NE 1/4, Section 22, Township 139, Range 53, <br />Gill Township, as omitted property for 2000 in the amount of $500 <br />agricultural land, according to notice sent from the county auditor to <br />Bernard J. Baumler, Wheatland, North Dakota. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
