Commission Minutes--April 3, 2000 2107 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 3, 2000 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following change: delay three Highway Department contracts on the consent agenda until after the County Highway 81 bid openings in Bismarck on April 14, 2000, according to the discussion at a County Road Advisory Committee meeting held earlier today. Motion carried. 4. NATIONAL COUNTY GOVERNMENT WEEK PROCLAMATION, April 9-15. 2000 MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chairman and the county auditor to sign the proclamation for National County Government Week April 9-15, 2000. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND, Proxy vote to elect Richard Bendish to board of directors MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to sign proxy vote to elect Richard Bendish to the Board of Directors of the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund to serve a term of three years, or until a successor is elected and qualified. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 6. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action to revise policy 6.02. Family Medical Leave Act MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify Personnel Overview Committee action of March 20, 2000, to revise Personnel Policy Section 6.02, Family Medical Leave Act. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
