<br />Commission Minutes--April 3, 2000 2107 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 3, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following change: delay three Highway <br />Department contracts on the consent agenda until after the County <br />Highway 81 bid openings in Bismarck on April 14, 2000, according to <br />the discussion at a County Road Advisory Committee meeting held <br />earlier today. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. NATIONAL COUNTY GOVERNMENT WEEK PROCLAMATION, April 9-15. 2000 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the <br />chairman and the county auditor to sign the proclamation for National <br />County Government Week April 9-15, 2000. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND, Proxy vote to elect Richard Bendish to <br />board of directors <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to sign proxy vote to <br />elect Richard Bendish to the Board of Directors of the North Dakota <br />Insurance Reserve Fund to serve a term of three years, or until a <br />successor is elected and qualified. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action to revise policy 6.02. Family Medical <br />Leave Act <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to ratify Personnel <br />Overview Committee action of March 20, 2000, to revise Personnel <br />Policy Section 6.02, Family Medical Leave Act. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
