Commission Minutes--January 18, 2000 2084 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JANUARY 18, 2000 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, Alon Wieland and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order apDroved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. 4. EXTENSION SERVICE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT, Commendation letter to Connie Weed MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a commendation letter to Connie Weed, Cass County Extension Service employee, who is retiring after 26 years of service to Cass County citizens. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Weed was present to receive the letter and a plaque in honor of her retirement. Brad Cogdill, Extension Agent Chair, was also present. 5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Sandhills Archers: Embden Community Club: Kindred Lion's Club MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Sand hills Archers, Inc. to be held January 21, 2000, at Sandhills Archery Park near West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Embden Community Club to be held June 24, 2000, at the Embden Community Club in Embden, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Kindred Lion's Club to be held April 7, 2000, in the Kindred School Commons, Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
