<br /> <br />10 <br /> 1. Submit a license fee; <br />2. Submit a contractors performance bond in a form acceptable <br /> to the County; and <br />3. Either present a valid and existing comparable installers <br />license from another County or State for the current year or <br />the year previous or pass a written test prepared by the <br />Cass County Health Department. <br /> <br />Annual License Fees and Bond amounts shall be set from time to <br />time by the Cass County Commission. <br /> <br />SECTION V – INSPECTION <br /> <br />The designated Health Officer of Cass County shall make inspections <br />on all newly constructed on-site systems. No part of the drain field <br />system shall be covered until it has been inspected, unless prior <br />approval has been granted. It shall be the duty of the owner or <br />occupant of the property to give the designated officer free access to <br />the property at reasonable times for the purpose of making an <br />inspection. Upon completion and final inspection of the system, if <br />found satisfactory and meeting the approval of the inspection, the <br />designated officer shall issue to the applicant a certificate of approval. <br /> <br />If, upon inspection, the designated officer discovers that any part of <br />the system is not constructed in accordance with the minimum <br />standards provided in these regulations, the applicant shall be <br />responsible for the correction or elimination of all defects, and no <br />system shall be placed in service until all defects have been <br />corrected or eliminated. <br /> <br />SECTION VI – PERMIT FOR INSTALLATION OF ON-SITE <br />SYSTEMS <br />
