Commission Minutes--July 6, 2004 2746 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JULY 6, 2004 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairperson Robyn Sorum called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Darrell Vanyo led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) contract with Maple Prairie Addition for mosquito spraying; 2) raffle permit for the Norman Lutheran Church, Kindred; 3) special event permit for the Knickerbocker Liquor Locker, Hickson; and 4) resolution of condolence to the family of the late Jeannette Stanton, former Cass County Commissioner. Motion carried. 5. PLEDGE OF ASSETS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the pledge of assets submitted by the Cass County Treasurer, as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, Budget adjustment to upgrade rural paging MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve a budget adjustment of $9,239.00 from account 101-3701-427.10-05 to account 101- 3701-427.74-04 to upgrade the Cass County Rural Paging System. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
