-..,...-----___.__....._....,.~__~._v~___.__'~=~.___ PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA ,-,,-3...,S' Don Rudnick, Chief Deputy Sheriff, appeared before the Board concerning a bill in the amount of $530.65 which they received from the County Road Department. About $350.00 ,of the bill is for work that the Sheriff's Department requested them to do, but the remainder is for work done in the Jail which the Sheriff's Department felt should not be paid from their budget. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the bill ,be referred to the Auditor to determine which fund should be used to pay the bills for work done in the Jail. Motion carried. Wold, Chairman Cass County Board of Commissioners REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 3, 1978 Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the County Commission approve the Plat of Headland-Rutten 4th Addition in the NW~ of Section 2, Stanley Township, providing Mr. Rutten complies to the new rules and regulations that will be worked out this winter. Mr. Satrom's motion carried with Mrs. Stanton opposing the approval of the plat. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded for a gambling permit for the Wheatland Rod & Gun punchboards to be held Friday, November ~, 1978. that the Board approve the application Club for bingo, raffle, pull tabs and Motion carried. Mr. Hendrickson gave a committee report on the Conservation Tour at Brewer Lake. Upon recommendation of Gordon Sletmoe, Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Board pass a resolution expressing their support on the need for a State Revenue Sharing program and that a copy be sent to Bismarck. Motion carried. Mr. Goodwin Hoff, City Sanitarian, appeared before the Board to present a number of health services that are being carried out by the Community Health Center and also stated some disadvantages of not having the County Sanitarian back under the jurisdiction of the County. The Board discussed having Mr. Brumfield appear before the Board periodically to hear the County's complaints and to work them out with the Community Health Center. No decision was made. On motion by Mr. Hendrickson and seconded by Mr. Satrom, the meeting was adjourned. Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting! be approved as written. Motion carried. I Discussion was held in regard to the County's road mowing policy. It was decided that the Board consider, at budget time, purchasing new equipment to mow all of the County's right of way and easements. Discussion was held on the repair of the Sheriff's Residence. It was decided to wait until after etection to determine if the newly elected Sheriff would live in the residence furnished by the County.
