Platting proced- ures adopted for plats within 2 miles of Fargo Upon the recommendation of the County Planning Commission, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the County Commission approve the platting procedures for plats ~hich are within the jurisdiction of the City of Fargo or any other city, this being that the plats include a statement that it has been reviewed by the township, the County Planning Commission and the Cass County Commission with a line for each of their signatures. Motion carried. I Mr. .Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Board accept with regrets the tesignation of George Griffeth as County Weed Control Officer. Motion carried. ! I Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the letter of resignation from Mr. Griffeth be referred to Walt Ness, County Extension Agent, and placed on the agenda ~or next week. A letter was received from the Fargo Public School System asking if the County Public School ~ould be interested in renting office space in the Emerson Smith Building on System re: office~lth Street and 2nd Avenue South. ,space at Emerson I Smith i Co. Concerning the problem of lack of office space which the County has, the County Auditor bldg. to south ~uggested a two-story building perhaps to the south of the present Courthouse, and the of present Cthse'fommissioners directed him to determine an approximate square footage. Buffalo Rural I No one appeared to protest at the hearing scheduled for 11:00 A.M. for the annexation Fire District pf property in the City of Buffalo to the Buffalo Rural Fire Protection District. annexation apprvd~rs. Stanton moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Chairman and the Auditor be authorized ~o sign the resolution approving the annexation to the Buffalo Rural Fire Protection District rotion carried. I Letter from City I Mrs. Wold read a letter from Harwood Mayor Milo Haugen and the City Council of Harwood !extending their appreciation for assistance with flood control. I Don Rudnick from the County Sheriff's Department gave a report on the cost of Dept. on County- ioperating the two vehicles purchased by the County last December and the cost of the purchased vehicles deputies operating their own vehicles. i , of the County Road Superintendent, Mr. Hendrickson moved the Chairman be authorized to sign the agreement with cable by the Convent south of Fargo. Motion carried. the request of Attorney Duane Breitling, Mr. Satrommoved and Mr. Sondrall that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Quit Claim Deed for transfer No. 40 right of way. Motion carried. Frank Erdman apptd. Co. Weed Control Officer Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that Frank Erdman of Alice be jappointed County Weed Control Officer. The motion carried with Mrs. Stanton opposing, land she requested that a mileage report be filed by Mr. Erdman at the end of the summer. I I !
