H. V. Johnston Culvert Company Westeel, Inc. The following bids were received for grader blades: Paper, Calmenson Company Butler Machinery Company Krider Equipment Company The following bid was received for gasoline and diesel fuel: Dan's Oil & Service A bid was received from Asphalt Products Company of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, for furnishing asphalt products but it did not contain a bidder's bond and therefore, could not be read. The following bids were received for asphalt products: Murphy Oil Corporation F-M Asphalt Company Northern Improvement Company Hydrocarbon Specialties Company William Collins, Inc. Continental Oil Company Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the above bids be received and referred to the County Road Department, with the exception of the bid from Asphalt Products Company which did not contain a bid bond. Motion carried. Disc. on Solid Waste Agreement Regarding a solid waste agreement, the County Auditor received from the States Attorney a prpposed agreement for establishing the Solid Waste Management Agency. Mrs. Wold stated that the idea was for the States Attorney and the City Attorneys for Fargo and West Fargo to draw up an agreement together, and she asked that the matter be placed on the agenda for March 8th if it is agreeable with the States Attorn~y. Corres. from League of Women Voters on Solid Waste Each Commissioner was given a copy of a letter from the Fargo League of Women Voters concerning solid waste. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the letter be received and filed. Motion carried. Also concerning solid waste, the Auditor received a copy of a resolution passed by Clay Co. req. to I' the Clay County Board of Commissioners requesting that they be allowed to be represented be represented on the Solid Waste Management Committee. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson on Solid Waste seconded that the letter be received and filed. Motion carried. Co. discussing 3 i options for oper~ tion shredding . faciE ty Mrs. WQld presented a letter from the Heil Company discussing three options for operating the shredding facility. She stated that she will write letters to several different companies who have installed shredding systems through the Heil Company asking what options they have taken and if they are satisfied with their operationo Committee reports were given. On motion by Mr. Satrom and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried.
