Commission Minutes-June 1, 2009 3517 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JUNE 1, 2009 <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairwoman Robyn Sorum called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, and Robyn Sorum. <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Darrell Vanyo led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the addition of four contracts and one plat approval request. <br />Motion carried. <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />a. Adopt resolution of commendation for Deb Dahlseng as follows: <br />RESOLUTION #2009-10 <br />WHEREAS, Deb Dahlseng has worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 30 <br />years; and <br />WHEREAS, Deb Dahlseng has distinguished herself in her work as the health <br />insurance group benefit consultant for Cass County Government; <br />WHEREAS, Deb Dahlseng has maintained a productive work relationship with <br />Cass County Government for many years; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Cass County does hereby congratulate Deb Dahlseng upon her retirement. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the <br />permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners <br />and a copy be forwarded to Deb Dahlseng. <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 1St day of June, 2009. <br />
