Commission Minutes-May 18, 2009 <br />three letters from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding bridge <br />structures in Cass County (copies also sent to county engineer); <br />letter from the U.S. Department of Energy regarding county eligibility to receive <br />grant funds through the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program <br />(copy referred to county department heads). <br />Mr. Vanyo discussed a letter received by the county auditor regarding nominations to <br />the Blue Cross Blue Shield board of directors. Mr. Vanyo is retiring from Blue Cross <br />Blue Shield on July 1St and has an interest in serving on this board. He said he would <br />be a proactive member and asked for input from commissioners. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to send a letter of <br />recommendation from the Cass County Commission to nominate Mr. <br />Vanyo to the Blue Cross Blue Shield board of directors. Motion carried. <br />11.
