S. Department of Commerce/Department of Homeland Security. The grant is to enhance the <br />capability of the Red River Valley Bomb Squad to respond to a terrorist act or weapons of mass <br />destruction within our communities. There is no local match required for this grant. A copy of the <br />grant award has been given to the States Attorney for review. <br />I would ask that the Commission accept this grant award. Should you have any questions; please <br />contact Lt. Colonel Ellingsberg of my office. <br />Sample Motion: <br />Move to approve the FY07 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Grant in the amount of $145,000.00 from the <br />U. S. Department of commerce/Department of Homeland Security managed through the State of North Dakota, <br />Department of Emergency Services, Division of Homeland Security. <br />Move to amend the Sheriff's 2009 budget to reflect revenues of $145, 000.00 in 101-3501-331.
