Commission Minutes-April 20, 2009 3508 <br />10. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />234,814 through Voucher No. 235,181. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />11. TOWNSHIP OFFICERS' MEETING; BREWER LAKE CAMPGROUNDS; FLOOD <br />MEETING; COUNTY SPACE NEEDS REPORT; JOINT CITY COUNTY LUNCHEON, <br />Committee reports <br />Mr. Pawluk said he, Mr. Wagner and several department heads attended the annual spring <br />Township Officers' Association meeting held Thursday, April 16tH <br />Mr. Pawluk contacted Doug Prchal from the North Dakota State Parks and Recreation <br />regarding Brewer Lake Campgrounds. He said the county has an easement on the land <br />through the year 2020. <br />Mrs. Johnson said Senator Byron Dorgan's office organized a meeting to be held Tuesday, <br />April 21St at 9:00 AM with city officials from Briarwood and Oxbow to discuss flood buyouts. <br />She and County Auditor Mike Montplaisir will attend the meeting. <br />Mrs. Johnson said Consultant Dennis Kimme originally was scheduled to present his final <br />report on county space needs today, but due to the flood, this item was postponed. <br />Commissioners agreed to have Mr. Kimme give his report at the June 1St meeting. <br />Mrs. Johnson said the last time the City of Fargo and Cass County held a joint meeting was <br />four years ago. She said the county will host the meeting this year and suggested May 18tH <br />as a possible date. She will contact the city to see if the date works with their schedules. <br />12. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br />2008 Annual Report for Fargo Cass Public Health (copy of report available in the <br />Commission Office); <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation response indicating funds through the <br />Safe Routes to School program for the Mapleton multi-use path was not chosen for <br />2010 (copy was also sent to county engineer). <br />13.
