Main A venue MOD Page 3 of 8 October 20, 2008 The city of West Fargo will: 1. Provide the 10% local funds match as necessary for the use of federal aid for project work within the city limits as shown in yellow on the attached layout sheets. This total cost will include the actual construction cost plus 10% for the preliminary and construction engineering; and will pay 100% of the construction costs plus 10% for the preliminary and construction engineering of all items not eligible for federal aid participation. 2. Maintain the roadway and sidewalk, to include: pavement markings, pedestrian crossings and markings, signs, curb and gutter, street lighting, sign lighting, drainage, pavement maintenance, snow plowing and snow removal, and traffic signals. II. Multi-Use Trail SEGMENT 1 - 1-94 TO THE SHEYENNE RIVER NDDOT will: 1. Provide the 80.93% federal funds for construction of multi-use trail from 1-94 to the Sheyenne River. 2. Provide construction engineering services for all work from 1-94 Interchange to the Sheyenne River. The county of Cass will: 1. Provide all of the 19.07% local match limits as necessary for the use of federal aid for project work within the county from 1-94 to 11 th Street West, as shown in green on the attached layout sheets. 2. Maintain the multi-use trail, to include: routine maintenance and snow plowing and snow removal from 1-94 to 11 th Street West, as shown in green on the attached layout sheets. The city of West Fargo will: 1. Provide the 19.07% local match for the use of federal aid for project work within the city from 11 th Street West to the Sheyenne River, as shown in red on the attached layout sheets. 2. Maintain the multi-use path, to include: routine maintenance and snow plowing and snow removal from 1-94 to 11 th Street West to the Sheyenne River, as shown in red on the attached layout sheets.
