<br />COUNTY DEED
<br />
<br />This indenture made on December 1, 2008, between the County of Cass, North
<br />Dakota, party of the first part, and Paul Dean Deschene, 920 Reno Street Hawley MN
<br />56549, party of the second part, witnesseth:
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was acquired by the County
<br />through tax deed proceedings for the nonpayment of taxes levied and extended
<br />against the properties for the years of 2003 to 2007, inclusive for Parcel 04-0100-
<br />00769-000 and for the years of 1998 to 2002, inclusive for Parcel 04-0100-00770-
<br />000, with interest and penalties, amounting to the sum of Nine Thousand One
<br />Hundred Forty Six and 61/100 ($9,146.61) Dollars; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the real property was offered for sale, and sold, pursuant to authority of
<br />law, on November 18, 2008, and at the sale, the second party became the purchaser
<br />of the whole thereof, for the sum of Five Hundred and no/100 ($500.00) Dollars,
<br />which has been paid in full;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, Cass County as party of the first part, in consideration of the
<br />premises, and pursuant to authority of law, hereby does grant, bargain, sell, and
<br />convey to the second party, the second party's heirs and assigns, that certain real
<br />property situated in the County of Cass, North Dakota, described as follows:

<br />All of Block "B" in the City of Kindred, except that portion of Block "B" beginning at a
<br />point 98 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Block "B", thence West at right
<br />angles to the Great Northern right-of-way, thence Southerly along said right-of-way to
<br />the South end of Block "B"; thence North to the place of beginning; it being intended
<br />to covey to purchaser the North 98 feet of Block "B", of the Town of Kindred, situate
<br />in the County of Cass and State of North Dakota, Tax Parcel No. 04-0100-00769-
<br />000; and
<br />That part of Block "B" of the Original Townsite of Kindred Described as follows, to
<br />wit: Beginning at a point on the East line of said Block "B" 98 feet South of the
<br />Northeast corner thereof, thence West on a line at right angles to the East line of said
<br />Block "B" 24 feet, more or less, to the Great Northern Railway Company Right of
<br />Way; Thence in a Southeasterly direction along the Right of Way line 48 feet, more or
<br />less, to the South end of said Block "B"; thence North along the East line of said
<br />Block "B" 42 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning, of the Town of Kindred,
<br />situate in the County of Cass and State of North Dakota, Tax Parcel No. 04-0100-
<br />00770-000.
