I've enclosed a spreadsheet with <br />potential cuts highlighted in yellow. It will be necessary to cut at least <br />$1,000,000 to allow a reasonable 2009 ending balance and payback all <br />borrowed building funds. <br /> <br />I had previously recommended cutting the 2009 chip seal project and the <br />2009 Highway 31 overlay projects. During the meeting there was interest <br />expressed in cutting the two new gravel trucks. $385,000 was budgeted for <br />the trucks which is close to the $400,000 that was budgeted for the <br />Highway 31 overlay project. So if the Commission would like to cut trucks <br />and the sealcoat project, this combination would provide the necessary <br />reduction. I've highlighted these items in green on the attached <br />spreadsheet. <br /> <br />I was also asked to provide the detailed spreadsheet with the highway 17 <br />project costs.
