<br /> <br />EMERcrr=.NCY <br />;'M"ANxc,EMENT <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br />SEP 2 9 2008 <br /> <br />Dove Rogness, Emergency Manager <br />0, f, <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY COMMISSJON <br /> <br /> <br />September 29,2008 <br /> <br />Board of Commissioners <br />Cass County Government <br />211 9 Street South <br />Fargo, North Dakota <br /> <br />Dear Commissioners, <br /> <br />Cass County has been awarded $101,145 in 2008 Homeland Security grant funds. <br />On September 22, 2008 the Cass County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) <br />met to discuss spending recommendations. The LEPC voted to forward their <br />recommendations to the Cass Fargo Emergency Management Board. <br /> <br />On September 29,2008 the Cass Fargo Emergency Management Board met and <br />reviewed the recommended spending plans. The EM Board approved the plans and voted <br />to forward them to the Cass County Commission and Fargo City Commission for <br />approval and adoption. <br /> <br />Attached is the recommended spending plan. <br /> <br />Recommended Motion: I move to approve the 2008 Homeland Security Grant <br />spending plans for Cass County direct the Cass County Emergency Manager to present <br />the grant application to the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services. <br /> <br />Dave Rogness <br />
