According to the policy, when an <br />employee is temporarily assigned for non-training purposes to a classification with a <br />higher pay range for more than four (4) consecutive normal work weeks, he or she <br />may qualify for acting pay. <br /> <br />Effective August 18, 2008, Hilda Gartner from the Personnel Office went on <br />extended medical leave. Cindy Stoick from the Personnel Office has been <br />performing her own duties as well as Mrs. Gartner's duties. I would request the <br />board allow Mrs. Stoick to receive acting pay after the four weeks has passed. <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to approve acting pay for Cindy Stoick in the Personnel Office according to <br />the county policy. <br /> <br />K:\BJ\ACTING PAY MEMO 9-4-08.doc <br />
