<br />Commission Minutes-July 21,2008 3380 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE <br />#2008-10 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of <br />the death of Ben Lenzen, Jr. of Fargo, North Dakota, on <br />July 17, 2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ben Lenzen, Jr. worked as a summer seasonal <br />construction employee for the Cass County Highway <br />Department; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ben Lenzen, Jr. was a valuable member of the highway <br />department construction team; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Commissioners of <br />Cass County, North Dakota, does hereby express its heartfelt <br />condolences to the family of Ben Lenzen, Jr.; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That this resolution will be inscribed upon <br />the permanent records of the proceedings of the Board of County <br />Commissioners and a copy forwarded to his family. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 21st day of July, 2008. <br /> <br />And adopt a resolution of condolence for the family of Jerry Rausch, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE <br />#2008-11 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Cass County Commissioners has learned of <br />the death of Jerry Rausch of Fargo, North Dakota, on July <br />16,2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jerry Rausch served as project manager for many of the <br />construction projects at the Cass County Courthouse; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jerry Rausch provided the finest craftsmanship available at <br />the front entrance of the Cass County Courthouse, making <br />the building accessible for all citizens using the building; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Courthouse has received several awards for <br />architecture and remodeling projects, nearly all completed <br />with the "special vision" of Jerry Rausch; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Commissioners of <br />Cass County, North Dakota, does hereby express its heartfelt <br />condolences to the family of Jerry Rausch. <br />
