<br />Commission Minutes-July 21,2008 3379 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />JULY 21,2008 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Ken Pawluk called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Ken Pawluk. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Vern Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with addition of two vector control contracts and two resolutions <br />of condolence. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Amend Cass County Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory <br />Boards, and appoint Brad Wimmer, Fargo City Commission <br />representative, to the Cass County Planning Commission; <br />Amend Cass County Commission Policy Manual Section 24.00, Platting <br />of Land and Subdivision Regulations and Section 24.30, Planning <br />Function of Cass County. <br />b. Receive monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the <br />month ended June 30, 2008. <br />c. Authorize closing of County Road 17 for the Horace community <br />celebration to be held August 23, 2008, from 7:00 AM until 1 :00 AM on <br />August 24, 2008. <br />d. Receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Beverly Drager; <br />and authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to issue a <br />duplicate check. <br />e. Contract approval <br />Village of Erie-amended 2008 vector control contract; <br />City of Frontier-2008 vector control contract. <br />f. Adopt a resolution of condolence for the family of Ben Lenzen, Jr. as <br />follows: <br />
