larger sites with on-call attendants may also provide a "holiday stipend" for those
attendants on-call on New Years Day, Easter, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and
Christmas. This "holiday stipend" shall not exceed $50 for each holiday.
d. Sites with less than an average of 80 placements per year, but more than 40
placements per year, shall be allowed, with prior approval ofDJS, reimbursement for
"on-call stipends" not to exceed $25 per week.

Private agencies may negotiate with DJS for the reimbursement of limited supervision time;
however this must be negotiated in advance and included as part of the private agency's contract.

The billing submitted for reimbursement may be in any format developed by the county or
private agency however; it is requested that the costs for all time, meals, transportation, etc,
be totaled separately on the billing. If the local jurisdiction or private agency has no preference,
the billing format provided as Appendix B is suggested. As stated above, all reimbursements
will be made to the sponsoring local agency, no direct payments to attendants, suppliers, or
vendors are possible.

July 2008 - Page 8
