<br />20. All other policies and procedures determined appropriate by the local jurisdiction or <br />private agency, <br /> <br />1. Reporting <br /> <br />As stated in the previous section, all county or multi-county facilities securely detaining <br />juveniles are required to submit Juvenile Detention Record forms (SFN 17080) or their <br />electronic equivalent to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (Appendix A). The <br />data submitted allows for the identification of the type of setting used in the supervision of <br />juvenile detainees. Those jurisdictions that participate in the SDSS Program will be required to <br />submit this data for juveniles that enter Attendant Care, indicating that specific type of setting. If <br />attendant care services are provided but not eligible for reimbursement pursuant to the SDSS <br />Program, as discussed in Section C. above, the type of setting for the placement should be <br />reported as "other non-secure setting", <br /> <br />A reference number (i.e. detention tracking number) must be submitted with the Attendant Care <br />provider's request for reimbursement. The forms or their electronic equivalent will provide <br />sufficient information to verify the number of juveniles supervised and the length of supervision. <br />The only other items necessary for submittal are those listed in the following subsection as <br />documentation of expenses. <br /> <br />J, Payment/Reimbursement Schedule <br /> <br />The following items are those which are eligible for reimbursement under the SDSS Attendant <br />Care component. Each item includes the percentage of the total cost that will be reimbursed to <br />the local jurisdiction or private agency, and the required documentation. <br /> <br />1. Site Renovation/Remodeling - 50 Percent - With prior approval ofDJS - Copies of all <br />receipts for purchases of materials labor and verification of payment of the total cost <br />2. Equipment - 100 Percent - With prior approval of DJS - Copies of all receipts for <br />purchases <br />3, Consumable Supplies -100 Percent <br />4. Publication and Recruitment Materials - 100 Percent <br />5. Meals/snacks of Attendants & Juveniles during supervision -100 Percent - within State <br />meal rates <br />6. Transportation/Per Diem/Lodging for Attendants' training - 100 Percent - within State <br />rates <br />7, Stipends for Attendants during supervision and training - 100 Percent - within the <br />following parameters: <br />a, $8.25 per hour maximum for starting workers - plus applicable payroll taxes <br />b. An individual attendant's hourly rate may be increased a maximum of 4% for each <br />year of attendant care service, consistent with the local agency's compensation <br />schedule - plus applicable payroll taxes; however, in no case should the hourly rate <br />exceed $13.00 per hour. <br />c, For those sites with an average of 80 placements or more per year, an additional "on- <br />eall stipend" shall be allowed, with prior approval ofDJS, if attendants carry pagers <br />and are required to respond, This on-call payment shall not exceed $50 per week, and <br />shall be limited to one male and one female at each attendant care location.
