DATA PROCESSING, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Mike Steiner to attend the IBM SAA ImagePlus WAF/400 Implementation class October 22-28, 1994, in Dallas, TX. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Deputies Majerus, Argall and Nitschke to attend the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center Conference on September 20-22, 1994, in Peoria, IL. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ATTENDANT CARE PROGRAM, Short-term use of office space in basement of Juvenile Justice Center MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the small conference room in the basement of the Juvenile Justice Center be used for the attendant care program during construction of additional floors on the Juvenile Justice Center. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Railroad crossing upgrade on County 17 MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve and authorize chairman to sign purchase order for rubber crossing material to install on the railroad crossing on County Road 17, two miles north of West Fargo, according to memo from County Engineer Keith Berndt, dated August 26, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 13. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Game and Fish Department grant agreement; 911 service agreement; remote access agreements MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve contracts submitted by the respective department heads and portfolio commissioners, subj ect to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the Chairman to sign the following: Game and Fish Department grant agreement for Valley Water Rescue; 911 service agreement with Ransom County; and remote access agreement with Edina Realty and Park Company Realtors. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
