The plat is located in <br />Mapleton Township, Section 9. The intended use ofthe subdivision is to <br />create five lots, which are currently and will continue to be used for <br />commercial, residential, and agricultural development. The plat in its <br />entirety is split between the boundary of West Fargo Extraterritorial <br />zoning jurisdiction and Mapleton Township with the majority of it being <br />under the jurisdiction of Mapleton Township. At the request of Mapleton <br />Township and the City of West Fargo, Cass County is to rule on the <br />subdivision plat, Mapleton Township has approved zoning, and West <br />Fargo Planning has acted as a review agency. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission is recommending approval of the new proposed <br />plat. Mapleton Township has indicated the plat has met their zoning and <br />floodplain requirements and West Fargo has indicated the plat is <br />acceptable. Therefore, the Planning Commission recommendation is <br />being forwarded to the County Commission Board for action. <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: I move that the Cass County Board of <br />Commissioners grant Final Plat approval for Leo's Subdivision, Section 9, <br />Township 139N, Range 50W in Cass County, North Dakota. <br /> <br />J:\Admin-Eng\Commission Corrsp\2008 Commission Correspondence\Consent Memo_Leos060208.doc <br />
