<br />Commission Minutes-May 19, 2008 3360 <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize Bonnie Johnson <br />to testify at a legislative hearing to be held June 11, 2008, on behalf of <br />Cass County. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Birch Burdick, State's Attorney, said the Youth Commission held an event last weekend to <br />raise money for a local charity and about 400 people attended. <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk will attend a hearing this week regarding the Pillsbury to Fargo power line <br />project. He will urge the Public Service Commission to follow existing power lines and right <br />of way in the interest of property rights for land owners affected by the project. <br /> <br />11. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation requesting comments on any <br />environmental concerns with a bridge rehabilitation and reconstruction project at State <br />Highway 38 (Buffalo Interchange) crossroad (copy also sent to county engineer). <br /> <br />12.
