<br />Building Committee-April 9, 2008 2 <br /> <br />Mr. Montplaisir said the county has a limited amount of land available at the jail site for <br />future growth and this needs to be considered when looking at re-Iocation of offices, <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said in 2001 site plans included an estimated 68,000 square footage for a <br />west addition. She said there is more than 68,000 square feet to build on; however, the <br />project is dependent on available funds. She said the scope of services needs to be <br />clarified by Cass County for the consultants. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner suggested the local consultant be requested to attend the next meeting to <br />discuss the general observations provided by Mr. Kimme and how they relate to the <br />scope of services. He also suggested Mr. Kimme be involved via conference call and Mr. <br />Montplaisir agreed that Mr. Kimme should be available to answer any questions and <br />provide additional information at the next meeting. <br /> <br />5. NEXT MEETING <br />The next meeting will be held Wednesday, May 14th at 4:00 PM. <br /> <br />6.
