Mr. Pawluk asked the State's Attorney to consider completion of the purchase
agreement a top priority.

Mrs. Johnson said a Federal compliance review of Social Services is being conducted this
week. A citizen contacted the State's Attorney with a request to set up a table and pass out
literature outside the Annex this week while the review is being done. Mr. Burdick said the
citizen withdrew the request to set up a table, and instead distributed brochures. The
Sheriff's Office thought the location where information was being distributed was
inappropriate and asked the person to use the public sidewalk. Mr. Burdick believes if a
person is not blocking an entrance or disturbing county business, he or she may be allowed
to hand out literature. Commissioners were in agreement as long as someone is not
interrupting the course of business.

Mrs. Johnson said Dennis Kimme and Jim Rowenhorst, consultants from Kimme &
Associates, will be in town May 1st and May 2nd.
