<br />The Artist Col1ective Co-op and Gal1ery Proposal <br /> <br />Building Plan: <br /> <br />The layout plan for the building consists of gallery space, working space and would include nine <br />apartments with studio space and six studios for non-resident artists. Included in the budget are <br />management fees which would maintain the building and grounds. Please see attached Pro-Forma. <br />and Construction Cost Estimate worksheets. <br /> <br />Budget and Resources: <br /> <br />We are working with Jim Lindberg of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Denver. The <br />National Trust for Historic Preservation is a private, nonprofit membership organization, dedicated <br />. to saving historic places and revitalizing America's communities by offering financial assistance for <br />predeveloprnent, acquisition, mini-permanent, bridge and rehabilitation of historic properties. We <br />have submitted the initial information for them to assess our needs and enable us to receive funding. <br />Project funding received frornthe National Trust for Historic Preservation would consist of a <br />Preservation Fund Grant and National Trust Loan. Please see attached letter. <br /> <br />While the Artist Collective Co-op and Gallery obtains non-profit status, Preservation North Dakota <br />will be acting on our behalf as our interim non-profit fiscal agent. <br /> <br />Operation: <br /> <br />Artist Collective Co-op and Gallery Board will choose an Executive Director. The Executive <br />Director would oversee operations, implement the goals and objectives of the strategic plan and <br />. manage human resources. <br /> <br />Project Pro-Forma, scope of construction work, hiring of a design team, creating financial package <br />is managed by the Kilbourne Group. The building would be managed by a local management <br />company yet to be determined. <br /> <br />Timeline: <br /> <br />Month I thru 3 - Create board and organization. Secure funding.
