<br />Commission Minutes-March 3, 2008 3332 <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk said the contract appears to be identical to the remote access agreements used <br />for the North Dakota Recorders Information Network (NDRIN). He questioned whether the <br />access agreements for the GIS WebFusion and NDRIN programs may be done on-line to <br />eliminate unnecessary paperwork. He feels the NDRIN contracts are labor intensive and he <br />would like to take this opportunity to make the process more efficient. County Auditor <br />Michael Montplaisir said work is underway to make the NDRIN contracts available on-line. <br />Mr. Bennett suggested the vector control contracts signed each year with cities and rural <br />subdivisions also be available through the internet. Mr. Vanyo suggested the contracts be <br />approved today, but request the Information Technology Department make the process <br />more efficient. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to authorize the chairman <br />sign contracts between Cass County and the cities of Harwood and <br />Casselton to access the Cass County GIS WebFusion application and to <br />direct the Information Technology Department streamline the contract <br />process. Motion carried. <br /> <br />8. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />224,631 through No. 224,992. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />9. HEAD START BUILDING OPEN HOUSE; EAST CENTRAL COUNTY COMMISIONERS <br />ASSOCIATION; CENTRAL PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING, Committee reports <br />Mr. Montplaisir said an open house was held on February 28th at the former Head Start <br />Building and approximately 100 people visited the building. He said another group will be <br />touring the site this week. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said a meeting of the East Central County Commissioners Association will be <br />held on Thursday, March 6th at the Valley City VFW. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said she, Mr. Pawluk and State's Attorney Birch Burdick will attend a <br />committee meeting of the Central Personnel Board in Bismarck on Monday, March 10th. <br /> <br />10. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding encroachments on <br />county roads in relation to receipt of federal aid money (copy referred to county <br />engineer); <br />- memo from Lake Agassiz Regional Council regarding the Community Development <br />Block Grant Program FY 2007. <br />
