<br />Commission Minutes-February 19, 2008 3329 <br /> <br />Mrs. Sorum, Mr. Vanyo and Mr. Wagner will be out of town at the time of the next <br />commission meeting on March 3rd and discussion was held whether the meeting should be <br />cancelled. A MIDA bond application is scheduled on the agenda. The state's attorney will <br />contact Jim Stewart to see if the item may be re-scheduled for March 1ih. In the event the <br />meeting is cancelled, a motion is needed to allow payment of vouchers. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to allow payment of the <br />vouchers after review by the assigned commissioner in the event the <br />March 3, 2008, commission meeting is cancelled. Formal action to <br />approve the vouchers will be taken at the March 17, 2008, commission <br />meeting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />13. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- letter from HDR Engineering requesting comments on proposed construction of a <br />high-voltage transmission facility from near Luverne, North Dakota, to the Maple River <br />Substation, northwest of Fargo, in Barnes and Cass Counties and copy of comments <br />from the county engineer to HDR Engineering regarding the project; <br />- memo from the North Dakota Department of Transportation requesting comments <br />regarding a local road needs assessment study (copy referred to the county engineer); <br />- letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation requesting comments on <br />any environmental concerns with a drainage improvement project on Interstate 94 at <br />the 25th Street Interchange (copy referred to the county engineer); <br />- letter from CapX2020 regarding a second public input meeting to discuss the "Fargo to <br />Monticello Transmission Line Project". <br /> <br />14.
