ORDINANCE #2005-2 AMENDED, Second readina/adoption of Over Dimension <br />Vehicle Reaulations <br />Keith Berndt, County Engineer, was present to discuss revisions to Ordinance #2005-2, <br />Over Dimension Vehicle Regulations. The first reading of the amended ordinance was held <br />last month. He said the North Dakota Department of Transportation changed designations <br />on restricted roads within the state highway system and the changes are administrative in <br />nature. He recommends the second reading be held today and the ordinance be adopted. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the second <br />reading and adopt amended Ordinance #2005-2, Over Dimension Vehicle <br />Regulations; and amend Cass County Commission Policy Section 9.90 to <br />regulate vehicle dimensions and weights on Cass County highways. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Storm water pollution prevention plan/annual public meetina <br />Tim Solberg, County Planner, said a copy of the 2007 Permit Year Annual Report was <br />provided prior to today's meeting regarding the Cass County Storm Water Pollution <br />Prevention Plan. <br /> <br />He said the county commission is required to hold a public input meeting annually, in <br />addition to submitting this report. A notice was published in the official county newspaper <br />indicating this is the time and date for public input on the program. Mr. Solberg did not <br />receive any written comments on the plan prior to today's meeting. He said the City of <br />Fargo has taken on educational efforts of the program. <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk asked if the plan addresses agricultural run-off. Mr. Berndt said agricultural <br />drainage is not covered under the EPA rules. <br /> <br />No one from the public requested to comment on the proposed plan. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to receive the 2007 annual <br />report on Cass County's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
