Existing Conditions <br /> <br />On February 16,2007, Metro COG staff visited the study area to collect information <br />pertaining to the existing roadway features and the signage system. The existing <br />conditions are as follows. <br /> <br />3.1 Roadway Condition <br />I <br /> <br />The profile of Dakota A venue varies from 32 ft to 37 ft with the shoulder being the I <br />variable factor. The roadway is a 24 ft 2 lane section from Rivershore drive to Main <br />Street. The roadway section at the 1-29 overpass is 40 ft. <br /> <br />Dakota A venue from Rivershore Drive to Interstate Boulevard consists of a 2 lane, <br />elevated, rural section with a paved width of 24 ft. The shoulders in this stretch are not I <br />paved and vary between 6 ft to 9 ft (Refer to Figure 3.11).
