F. ORIGINAL PLANS AND PRINTS One set of plans shall be provided for use in making a P.S.& E. Inspection. Prints of plan sheets necessary for use by utility companies to provide estimates and agreements for relocation work shall be provided. After all P.S.& E comments have been resolved and corrections made, the original copy of the final plans shall be furnished to the county or the North Dakota Department ofTransportation(department). G.RIGHT OF WAY PLATS NONE: (County responsibility). H. ADDITIONAL WORK ITEMS OR EXCEPTIONS Services as outlined in the Houston Engineering letter of December 14,2007. WORK TO INCLUDE DETERMINATION OF ANY UTILITY CONFLICTS AND ACQUISITION OF REQUIRED UTILITY RELOCATION PERMITS. (If a cultural resource survey and report is required, work and cost will be included in a supplemental agreement prior to the work being done.) II. The engineer or representative shall participate in and infonn the county of the P.S.& E. or T.S.& L. inspection, or any special conference or special field inspection during the progress of the design. The engineer shall also keep the county informed of project development. There shall be no additional compensation to the engineer tor this work. III. The tinal plans, Special Requirements, and Cost Estimate shall be prepared and submitted to the county in accordance with your letter dated December 14,2007, following approval of this agreement. Reasonable extension of time, necessitated by the unavoidable delays, may be made when mutually agreed to in writing by the parties to this agreement. IV. The county will pay the engineer $12.275.00 (lump sum) for the above specified services. The fee shall not exceed $12.275.00 for the project unless changed according to Section VB. A breakdown of cost is attached. V. All plans shall become property ofthe county. VI. Duly authorized representatives of the county, department, and Federal Highway Administration (FHW A) shall have right to inspect and copy the engineer's plans, tiles, and records relating to the work included in this agreement. All books, documents, papers, accounting records, and other evidence pertaining to the cost incurred under the agreement shall be retained by the engineer and available for inspection by the county, department, or FHW A for a period of three years after the date of final payment.
