Moorhead, MN $39.724.00 <br />Alier review ofthc bids, the trailers from Leach do not meet the !()!lowing specified items: <br />Vertical side braces on the outside of the box. Because the trailers arc used almost <br />exclusively on gravel roads, the paint on vcrtical braces is chipped to bare metal within months, <br />requiring repainting. We bave specified horizontal braces on all of our trucks and trailcrs for the past <br />15 years. <br />Air relcase tailgate trip with spring closure is not available, Leach can only provide air open- <br />air close. If truck loses air pressure. tailgate latches could open, spilling the load. Spring closure <br />\vould remain closed with the loss of air pressure. All of our trucks are set lip for air open-spring <br />closure. making these trailers only usable with one truck. <br />No local dealer. Leach is a rnanul11cturer based in I'cxas, with no dealer network. 'fhcy do <br />not have. or fumish any operation, maintcnance. or parts manuals.
