Commission Minutes-February 2, 2004 2695 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FEBRUARY 2, 2004 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robyn Sorum called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />John Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br /> previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order al~l~roved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br /> agenda with the addition of a purchase order from the county auditor for <br /> HTE software. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Sm <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify actions of January 20th meetin_cl <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to ratify Personnel Overview <br /> Committee actions of January 20, 2004, regarding Personnel Policy <br /> Manual revisions to Section 2.60, Fleet Vehicle Policy, and Section 7.40, <br /> Hours of Work and Overtime/Compensatory Time. On roll call vote, the <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WEED/VECTOR CONTROL, Vehicle i~urchase orders MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chair to sign <br /> a purchase order for a 2004 Ford F-350 one-ton pickup in the amount of <br /> $19,653.00 from Nelson Ford for the Weed Control Department. On roll <br /> call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chair to sign <br />a purchase order for six 2001 Chevy S-101GMC Sonoma pickups from <br />Nereson's Big Lot of Moorhead, Minnesota, in the amount of $53,700.00 <br />for the Vector Control Department. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chair to sign <br />a purchase order for a 1999 GMC SUV from Corwin Chrysler Dodge in the <br />amount of $10,000.00 for the Vector Control Department.
