<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Section III. DUES. Annual dues for membership shall be $20.00 for an individual member and <br /> <br />$30.00 for a family membership. Such dues shall be for a year and are due in September each year. Proper <br /> <br />membership cards shall be issued to each paid up member. <br /> <br />Section IV. The board of directors is authorized to expend not to exceed $1,000.00 of funds of <br /> <br />this organization without specific authority of the membership. Any sum or sums in excess of that amount <br /> <br />must have prior approval or authorization of the membership. <br /> <br />Section V. All bills presented to this organization shall be paid by the Treasurer providing the <br /> <br />expenditure has been approved by the membership or budget line-item process. <br /> <br />Section VI. All programs adopted by this organization which require funding in excess of <br /> <br />$1,000.00 must have either a review and recommendation of the board of directors, or be presented to the <br /> <br />membership at two consecutive meetings before final passage and approval of funding. <br /> <br />Section VII. The President of this organization may appoint such standing committees as the <br /> <br />board of directors shall find to be necessary to promote the work of the organization. The authority of such <br /> <br />committees shall be determined by resolution of the board of directors at the time the appointment is <br /> <br />authorized. Special committees may be selected or appointed by the membership at any time. <br /> <br />Section VIII. Vacancies in the board of directors by death,. resignation or a move from the area, <br /> <br />shall be filled by the board before the next regular annual meeting. <br /> <br />Section IX. These By-Laws may be amended by a majority vote of members present at any legal <br /> <br />annual or regular meeting provided that such proposed amendment has been submitted to the members at a <br /> <br />previous annual or regular meeting, (Providing a quorum is present) at said meeting. notice of such <br /> <br />proposed amendments shall be given to each member at a previous meeting. <br /> <br />THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS WERE UPDATED AND APPROVED AT THE <br />ANNUAL MEETING OF THE CASS COUNTY WILDLIFE CLUB. <br />
