<br />Commission Minutes-November 5, 2007 3282 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 5, 2007 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Heather Worden led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with an addition of a lease agreement with Mark Sand and Gravel <br />Company. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instruments for Computer Aided <br />Transcription Services; Birch Burdick; Business Essentials; Robins, Kaplan, Miller <br />& Ciresi LLP; Deb Assmus; Sean Brotherson; Jeff and Debbie Flisk; Redwood <br />Toxicology Laboratory; Lisa Brakke; Curt's Lock & Key Service; Debra Bond; and <br />Mark Seaver; and authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to issue <br />duplicate checks. <br />b. Authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order in the amount of $43,074.68 for <br />software and server licenses in conjunction with the implementation of the special <br />assessment and tax system programs. <br />c. Approve omitted assessments according to notices sent to property owners by the <br />county auditor. <br />d. Authorize the chairman to sign the North Dakota Department of Transportation <br />2008-2009 Federal Aid program sheet. <br />e. Amend Personnel Policy Manual Section 2.90, Lost Keys/Pass Cards and <br />approve Section 2.32, Security Procedures; and authorize the chairman to <br />forward the newly adopted security policies to District Court Administrator Rod <br />Olson. <br />f. Authorize the chairman to sign the proxy vote for the Blue Cross Blue Shield <br />annual meeting to be held December 7,2007. <br />g. Grant final plat approval for Gust Subdivision located in Section 23, Township <br />140N, Range 50W in Cass County, North Dakota. <br />
