VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />220,800 through Voucher No. 221,154. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES; COUNTY HEALTH & BENEFITS FAIR; JAIL <br />ADDITION RIBBON CUTTING; JUVENILE DETENTION SECURITY EQUIPMENT; <br />COUNTY FLOOD PROPERTY REQUEST; LEGISLATIVE INTERIM COMMITTEE; <br />Committee reports <br />Mr. Montplaisir said today, October 1st, is the deadline for property owners to pay 2002 real <br />estate taxes in order to avoid their properties being placed on the delinquent tax sale list. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said 180 employees attended the Cass County Health and Benefits Fair last <br />month. She thanked Cindy Stoick for her organization of the event and Hilda and Willie <br />Gartner for donating food and beverages. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson reminded commissioners about a ribbon cutting ceremony for the jail addition <br />to be held Monday, October 15th at 11 :00 AM. The event will be held at the east entrance, <br />at the back of the jail. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said security equipment will be installed at juvenile detention this week and <br />the project is expected to take up 30 days to complete. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson received a request from NDSU employee Randy Wald to use county flood <br />property in Forest River Subdivision to film a special archery event. A facility use <br />agreement was sent to Mr. Wald to complete for use of county property. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner received information from a legislative interim committee studying property <br />taxes, which he distributed to commissioners. <br /> <br />12.
