The positive impacts of this project are far reaching in the community. The path will help to restore a
sense of security and safety to students, parents, and motorists alike. The path will reduce traffic congestion in the
vicinity of the school and encourage students to walk or ride bikes to school by offering a safer alternative then what
currently exists. Businesses located along the path are likely to enjoy easier access for pedestrians and bicyclists and
less safety concerns for motorists. The path may also be seen as a positive asset to potential new residents, thereby
increasing residential development in Harwood.

Support (Attach documentation from all those affirmina this support)
Names of Governmental Agencies
City of Harwood, West Fargo Public Schools, Harwood Elementary School,
Names of Groups/Organizations
Harwood Cub Scouts, Harwood Park Board, Harwood Baseball Board, Harwood Area Senior Citizens
Names of Individuals
Darlene

Signature of Contact Person

Dale

Signature of Project Sponsor

Date

Signature of MPO Official

Date
