Commission Minutes--December 15, 2003 2682 The chairman asked Mr. Burdick to draft a policy concerning permit approval for consideration at the next regular meeting, January 5,2004, to be included in the commission policy manual. Mr. Bennett suggested including language whereby the vice chair could approve the specified permits in the absence of the chair. 16. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Voucher No. 183,028 through No. 183,495. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 17. MEETING UPDATES, Committee reports Commissioners reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks. Mr. Wagner thanked fellow commissioners for the privilege of serving as chairman in 2003. Typically, a new chairman is selected each January. 18. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. North Dakota Association of Counties information on 2004 dues benefit services; report from North Dakota Division of Emergency Management on Local Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan approval process; notice of Red River Valley Fair Association Board of Directors meeting at 7:00 PM on December 18, 2003, in the Ag Building at the Fairgrounds. 19. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Meyer, seconded by Mr. Vanyo and all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 4:45 PM.
