<br />Commission Minutes-September 4, 2007 3264 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SEPTEMBER 4, 2007 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Ken Pawluk, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. Darrell Vanyo was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Ken Pawluk led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the addition of a special event permit to the consent agenda. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Amend the Sheriff's Department grant budget for 2007 in the amount of <br />$10,000 in revenue and $10,000 in expenditures for the Cities <br />Readiness Initiative federal program for bioterrorism preparedness. <br />b. Approve omitted assessments according to notices sent to property <br />owners by the county auditor. <br />c. Authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order to Gateway Chevrolet <br />in the amount of $19,710 for a jail transport van. <br />d. Approve an amendment to the Metropolitan Council of Governments <br />Articles of Association to eliminate a FHW A official from the <br />transportation technical committee membership. <br />e. Receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Christopher <br />Lindberg; and to authorize the county auditor and county treasurer to <br />issue a duplicate check. <br />f. Authorize the chairman to sign a temporary easement conveyance with <br />the North Dakota Department of Transportation and to sign a <br />notification and waiver for a road project on 12th Avenue North. <br />g. Approve a special event permit for alcoholic beverage sales by O'Kelly's <br />Tastes & Toddies for a Mountain Plains Museum social at Bonanzaville, <br />U.S.A. in West Fargo, North Dakota, during the hours of 7:00 PM to <br />10:00 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. <br />
