<br /> Policy Number: Number of Pages: <br />CASS COUNTY JAIL <br />POLICIES AND PROCEDURES <br />Chapter: <br />COURTHOUSE SECURITY OPERATIONS <br />AFTER HOURS SPECIAL EVENTS Effective Date: <br /> <br />After hours events require that normal security hours be expanded. These events <br />include; Jury trials, regularly scheduled court proceedings that run past 5:00 p.m., <br />Elections, National Day of Adoption and other events that require security. <br /> <br />1. The deputy assigned security will monitor the courtrooms for any proceeding still <br />in session at 5:00 p.m. and will stay on post until those proceeding are adjourned. <br /> <br />2 The Comi Transport Supervisor will communicate with the County Official or <br />his/her designee to detem1ine the need to assign a deputy. <br /> <br />3.
