<br />Commission Minutes-July 16, 2007 3226 <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson stated she had been contacted by Dave Rogness, Emergency Services <br />Manager, regarding storm damage which resulted from severe thunderstorms that moved <br />through the area on July 15. She read Mr. Rogness's report into the record. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson reported that the carpet and window cleaning in the Courthouse is complete. <br />Two floors of hallway painting in the Annex has been completed and repairs to the Annex <br />roof are scheduled for July 26. An $84,000 project in district court has also been <br />completed. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said her staff is working on a Cass County Employee Health and Benefits Fair <br />which is scheduled for September 20 in the Annex basement. On August 1, 2007 the <br />Uniform Anatomical Gifts Act will go into effect. In an effort to support this act and bring <br />awareness to the importance of organ donation, the fair will feature a booth. <br /> <br />Mr. Vanyo will attend the Maple River Dam dedication scheduled for July 17. <br /> <br />9. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- North Dakota Department of Transportation response indicating funds through the Safe <br />Routes to School program for Harwood School pedestrian and bicycle crossing <br />improvements was not chosen for 2008 (copy was also sent to county engineer). <br /> <br />10.
