In order to ensure this maintenance a seal coat cost has been added to the <br />opmlOn. <br /> <br />Based on the description above a preliminary opinion of probable cost for the project was <br />prepared and is attached hereto. The preliminary opinion of probable construction cost for the 6- <br />inch asphalt pavement and future seal coat is approximately $404,550. Using a $10,000 Cass <br />County administration fee; approximately I O-percent for contingcncics; $15,000 for engineering <br />fees, the preliminary total project opinion of probable cost is approximately $470,000 dollars <br />(assuming 55 lots). A detailed breakdown of the project cost is attached to this letter. <br /> <br />It is intended that the description of the proposed project, opinion ofprobablc costs and attached <br />figures will provide the Granberg's Subdivision and Amber Plains Subdivision residents enough <br />information to move forward with the proposed project. <br /> <br />Pending the outcome of an assessment district vote, the subseq uent steps for the project will <br />include coordination with Ca..'lS County to establish the assessment district, completing final <br />design, preparing construction plans for the project, open contractor bids, awarding contract to <br />successful bidder, coordinate special assessment bonds issuance and other financial issues with <br />Cass County, and beginning construction. <br /> <br />Please note we have not tried to anticipate inflation or fluctuating oil prices in our attached <br />Opinion of Probable Cost for the project.
