Impact/Outcomes. Evaluation and Sustainment:

The effectiveness of this grant will be demonstrated in a number of ways and quite easy to

identify. This will be aecomplished through the use of questionnaires of users, review of

capabilities achieved, and reduction in task times compared to past trends.

PERFOR.MANCE MEASURE
Questionnaire of Users

Analyze the tasks performed to tasks
performed previous to the grant's
im .lementation
Number of Applications Supported

Number of Data Transmissions

Response Times for Mobile Units

ASSESSMENT
The proj ect would be a success if the number
of positive responses was appreciable higher
than ne ative res onses.
Increase num of tasks that can be performed
by user and if tasks took less time then
the ..ro' ect was successful.
The project will be a success ifthe number of
applications that users are able to run from the
mobile unit is greater than one (Only
application currently available is the text based
transmissions. )
l'he project wit successif the number of
da.tatransmissions ases over the number
of text transmissions ious recorded
reflected a greater use of system .

This increase of data transmissions would also
show by a preponderance of evidence that a
subsequent reduetion of voice transmissions
must have occurred.
The project will be a suecess if there is a
reduction in response times for Mobile Units
when utilizing Graphical Information System
(GIS) and/or Global Positioning System (GPS)
applications.

70f7
