<br />Commission Minutes-May 21, 2007 3204 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MAY 21,2007 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Ken Pawluk, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. Darrell Vanyo was <br />present via conference call. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Michael Montplaisir led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the addition of a contract with Central Specialties. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Grant site authorization permits to conduct games of chance under <br />license issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the <br />period of July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008, as follows: Veteran's <br />Inc. at the Bronco Bar, Chaffee; Red River Human Services Foundation <br />at the Wild Rice Bar & Grill, Wild Rice; Dokken & Schroeder Post 223 at <br />Erie Legion Hall, Erie; The Arc, Upper Valley, Inc. at the Club 94, <br />Casselton; and Christine Volunteer Firefighters at the Knickerbocker <br />Liquor Locker, Hickson. <br />b. Approve county beer and wine license for John and Ann Kennedy, Inc. <br />d/b/a Home on the Range and The Shooting Park of Fargo, subject to <br />review and approval by the State's Attorney, Sheriff and respective <br />township board. <br />c. Authorize the chairman to sign a lease agreement with SBA Corporation <br />for a radio system tower antennae site in Tower City. <br />d. Appoint a group of local residents as members to the Local Emergency <br />Planning Committee for Cass County, according to a list provided by the <br />emergency manager. <br />e. Approve omitted assessment according to a notice sent to the property <br />owner by the county auditor. <br />f. Receive monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the <br />month ended April 30, 2007. <br />
