Commission Minutes-May 7, 2007 3203 MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the chairman sign a contract with Haberman Lawn Service for ground maintenance and mowing of county-owned lots, subject to state's attorney approval. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 10. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to approve Voucher No. 216,818 through Voucher No. 217,209. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Bennett left the meeting at this time. 11. BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS UPDATE; YOUTH COMMISSION GRADUATION; LEGISLATIVE UPDATE, Committee reports Bonnie Johnson, County Administrator, said repairs to the Courthouse bell tower will begin this week. Also, court grant projects at Juvenile Court, located in the Annex, will begin next week. Mrs. Johnson reminded commissioners of the Youth Commission graduation scheduled for Wednesday, May 9th at 2:00 PM. Mr. Wagner, President of the County Commissioners Association, spoke at a legislative wrap-up in Bismarck earlier today. The event was hosted by the North Dakota Association of Counties. 12. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. - letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding bridge structures in Cass County; - letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding a bid opening to be held on May 18, 2007, in Bismarck for a road overlay project in Cass County. 13. ADJOURNMENT MOTION, passed On motion by Mr. Vanyo, seconded by Mr. Pawluk, and all in favor, the meeting was adjourned at 4:35 PM.
