14 <br /> <br />Section 2.09 Public Notice <br />(a) Public Notice shall be published in the official newspaper of the County. Public notice <br />may also be published in any other newspaper of general circulation in the county at the <br />discretion of the County Planner or the body holding the hearing. The public notice shall <br />contain the following information and comply with public notice requirements of state <br />law. <br />(b) Type of Application <br />The type of application, such as Subdivision, Variance, Appeal, or Ordinance Amendment. <br />(c) Description of Decision <br />A brief description of the decision or action sought by the applicant. <br />(d) Name of Owner, Applicant <br />The name of the landowner and applicant. <br />(e) Location of Land <br />A legal description and a general description of the location of the subject land, if applicable. <br />(f) Location, Date, Time <br />The location, date and time of the public hearing or public meeting. <br />(g) Where Information Available <br />The location where information about the application may be viewed and the general hours <br />available for viewing. <br />(h) Proposed Use <br />When applicable, a description of the type of use being proposed. <br />Article III. Interpretation <br />Section 3.01 Liberal Interpretation to Further Underlying Purposes <br />(a) Interpretation and application of this Ordinance are the basic and minimum <br />requirements for the protection of public health, safety, comfort morals, convenience, <br />prosperity, and welfare. This Ordinance shall be liberally interpreted in order to further <br />its underlying purposes. The meaning of any and all words, terms, or phrases in this <br />Ordinance shall be construed in accordance with the following Rules and Definitions. <br />
