<br />Commission Minutes-April 16, 2007 3195 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 16, 2007 <br /> <br />1. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER <br />Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo, Robyn Sorum, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Vern Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda as amended with the addition to the consent agenda as <br />follows: proclamation for National Foster Care Month; and with <br />additions to the regular agenda as follows: Devils Lake update and <br />Veterans Service travel budget adjustment request. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the consent <br />agenda as follows: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />a. Approve omitted assessment according to notice sent to property owner <br />by the county auditor. <br />b. Grant final plat approval to Jaguar Territory Subdivision, Section 33, <br />Township 143N, Range 50W, in Cass County, North Dakota. <br />c. Receive monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the <br />month ended March 31,2007. <br />d. Authorize the chairman to sign a purchase order to Sweeney Brothers <br />Construction Equipment in the amount of $22,690 for one Efficiency PT <br />3000 water tank to be installed on one of the Road Department tandem <br />trucks. <br />e. Contract approval: <br />Flood lot leases for county-owned properties in Stanley and Walburg <br />Townships; <br />Muscha Pavement Marking, Inc.-striping projects on various county <br />highways; <br />Houston Engineering Services-design engineering services for <br />highway upgrade on Cass County Highway 23 from 1-94 to Cass County <br />Highway 10; <br />Fargo Cass Public Health-contract with area law enforcement to <br />develop a security plan for medication dispensing sites in the event of a <br />public health emergency. <br />
