Contract approval: <br />Rural cities, subdivisions and organizations-vector control contracts <br />as received; <br />- City of Fargo and City of West Fargo-2007 mosquito control <br />agreements; <br />- Airborne Custom Spraying-2007 mosquito control aerial spraying <br />agreement; <br />Morris Sealcoat & Trucking, Inc.-chip seal project on various county <br />highways in the amount of $460,060.02; <br />Roadway Services, Inc.-crack seal project on various county <br />highways in the amount of $148,120.68; <br />- All-Terrain Grounds Maintenance-Courthouse, Annex, Jail and <br />Springvale Cemetery grounds maintenance; <br />Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad-upgrade crossing on Cass <br />County Highway 26 near Page; <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation-construction and <br />maintenance agreement for bituminous overlay on county road from <br />North Dakota Highway 18 east to 1-29; <br />North Dakota Department of Transportation-traffic safety grant in the <br />amount of $4,500 for occupant protection and other traffic safety <br />enforcement by the Sheriff's Department. <br />j. Approve. a fund raiser to be held by Cass County Government <br />employees with all proceeds to go toward the World War II "Honor <br />Flight." <br /> <br />6. ORDINANCE #2007-1, Second readino on county hiahway access ordinance <br />Keith Berndt, County Engineer, said the first reading of the proposed ordinance was <br />held March 5, 2007. He sent information to cities regarding the ordinance and asked for <br />comments. As of today, no comments or concerns were received. He said the <br />ordinance will serve as an important planning function to preserve corridors, assist with <br />traffic flows and limit accesses. <br /> <br />No one from the audience asked to address the board regarding the proposed <br />ordinance. <br />
